What do you need to register with anzuk? Check out the full list of qualifications and registration requirements here.

1. Qualifications

 

Teachers

  • Higher education qualification including an approved teacher education degree.
  • Registration with the appropriate governing body in which they wish to teach (see below)
  • Clearance to work with children from the governing body in the relevant state (see below)
 

Teaching assistants and support staff

  • Passion and appropriate skills / experience to work with children. Formal qualifications aren’t necessarily required but are advantageous if applicable.
  • Clearance to work with children from the governing body in the relevant state (see below)

Registration to teach and working with children clearances are managed independently from state to state as follows:

We will require an up-to-date version of your resume; please review our 5 Top Tips for a Great CV and 4 Tips to Writing a Professional CV. If you are applying for a contract or permanent role, we can provide a template specific to anzuk.
 

 

4. Referee Details

Please review our Referee Guidelines and include two work references for us to contact, who can verify your experience and ability.

Pay and Conditions

We know now how important your job is in education, and believe you should be paid fairly for the work you do.

Our payment process varies according to the type of contract you are on, and we offer attractive pay rates by industry standard. Comprehensive information will be provided at the time of registration. In some instances, anzuk will be your direct employer and in others we act as a referral service. If you are paid by anzuk, this is processed weekly in arrears.

During your registration interview we will ensure all requirements are covered to facilitate hassle-free payment so you can focus on doing a great job!
