    An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Director to take on the responsibilities of 2IC in a quality focused centre. Located in the inner-north suburbs, this centre is part of a small group of linked services, offering the opportunity for future career progression and taking on further responsibilities with head office or Director roles.

    This beautiful purpose built centre has a large outdoor space, as well as spacious and natural classrooms and access to an abundance of sustainably focused resources. The centre has been open for over a year, but has already built an excellent reputation within the local community and is passionate about continuing this important focus and involvement.

    Your new role

    Supporting the Director this role will be a leadership position where the ideal candidate has the ability to influence and guide educators within the centre as well as the service as a whole in the absence of the Director. It would best suit an experienced educator who has had a leadership role previously.

    It is expected that the successful candidate has extensive knowledge of the Early Years Leaning Framework to mentor staff as the educational leader. In return you will be be rewarded with above award remuneration and conditions as well as having the opportunity to work in a fun and vibrant service.

    The candidate

     
    As the ideal candidate, you will present with a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS and have several years experience in the sector. You will also have previous experience in either an Educational Leader  or Assistant Director position and be confident when communicating with all levels of management. 

    The ideal candidate for this position will hold;
    • Diploma in Children's Services or higher
    • Working with children card
    • current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
