Early Childhood- Director | NFP Standalone Kindergarten
Rare Service Director opportunity at a highly regarded NFP Standalone Kindergarten in the inner suburbs!
anzuk is proud to be working in partnership with this small, not-for-profit, community-based Standalone Kindergarten in the Inner suburbs of Melbourne!
This is an inclusive, nature based community service that provides a language-enriched play-based program to support the holistic development of every child. They value diversity, equity and sustainable environmental practices as well as encouraging children to be active participants in their own learning.
The team recognise the importance of providing a rich nurturing environment that empowers children to become confident, involved and independent learners. The service recognises the importance of meaningful partnerships with families, which are paramount in creating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for all.
The role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the service and leading a team to ensure exceptional pedagogy and professional practice.
As the Director, you will be responsible for staff management, fostering professional relationships with families and the local community, and delivering a high calibre program.
The Director works in collaboration with a very supportive leadership team, along with a team of highly qualified and dedicated educators.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing services, leading change and renewal as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing budgets.

The Ideal candidate:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as Centre Director, demonstrating an ability to lead and manage all aspects of the daily running of the service. You will have excellent communication skills, strong focus on being hands on with the team and ability to build trusted relationships with families and the wider community.

- Bachelor of Early Childhood OR Diploma of Children Services (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification.
- WWCC or VIT.
- Right to work in Australia.
- A minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a Centre manager.
