The Centre

An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for a Nominated Supervisor in a quality focused centre. Located in St George, this centre is part of a growing organization, offering the opportunity for future career progression and is predominantly working off the floor. With purpose-built facilities, the service gives children the opportunity to explore, learn and grow in a secure and supportive environment. The centre has built an excellent reputation within the local community and gets involved through excursions, service visits and fundraisers.

Your new role
Supporting the owner this role will be a leadership position where the ideal candidate has the ability to influence and guide educators within the centre.
It would best suit an experienced educator who has had a leadership role previously. It is expected that the successful candidate has extensive knowledge of the Early Years Leaning Framework to mentor staff. In return you will be rewarded with above award remuneration as well as having the opportunity to work in a fun and vibrant service. This is a great opportunity for a career driven and motivated assistant director that wishes to join a professional organisation that values their staff and will strive to develop your mentoring and leadership qualities.

The candidate
As the ideal candidate, you will present with a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS and have several years’ experience in the sector. You can be an experienced bachelor qualified ECT looking for the next step in your career or you could have previous experience as an Assistant Director/2IC position. The most important thing is to be energetic, bubbly and be confident when communicating with all levels of management, staff, and families. 

The ideal candidate for this position will hold;

  • Must hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA Assessed equivalent
  • WWCC
  • Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
