An SEN school in Islington is looking for a Primary trained teacher for a January start. Split across a number of sites the schools cater to students with ASC as well as those with SMEH and do so in separate settings.
This role is to work with year 4 students. The class has 9 learners in place and extensive TA support.
Based in Islington, the school is renowned locally for the quality of its CPD and training and therefore has the ability to take on teachers with little or no previous SEN experience as long as they display an attitude that focuses on the learning of the children and a willingness to learn. However, the ideal candidate has PRU and/or ASC experience.
Extensive in-class support is offered by experienced and well-trained LSAs
The role is full time, 5 days per week and the school finishes early on a Friday afternoon.
- Hold QTS
- Has UK and SEN teaching experience
- Open to learning and developing
- Skilled at managing LSA/TA support
- Has written curriculums/schemes of work
