      Unique opportunity to lead the team of a Non for Profit community based service in the Lilydale area



      The Organisation

      anzuk is working in partnership with the Committee of Management of a not-for-profit, community run service located near Lilydale. 

      The team at this medium-size service prides itself on engaging with the local community and providing a safe and fun learning environment for the children in their care.   The welfare of the children is at the core of this services' values which has enabled them to have very low staff turnover. This in turn has enabled them to provide a supportive environment to their educators as well as offering a stable learning environment for the children in their care. 

      The opportunity:

      The Senior Director will provide strong, committed leadership, lead strategy and innovation as well as ensuring regulatory compliance and good practice in finance and risk functions.

      The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing early childhood education services, leading change and renewal as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing a minimum of $2 million budgets. 

      As the Senior Director you will inspire excellence, manage performance, lead by example and build a supportive culture where each and every team member will be focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

      The Candidate

      You will be a Diploma or Bachelor qualified Early Years professional with 3+ years’ experience in multi-site management or a Centre Director with a minimum of five years’ experience who possesses strong business acumen and experience managing large services.

      You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.  In addition, you will have a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters and policies.
