      The Organisation
      anzuk is working in partnership with the leadership team of a not-for-profit, community run organisation that provides an integrated early years service to families and children in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

      This is not for profit service which prides itself on engaging with the local community and providing a safe and fun learning environment for the children in their care.   The welfare of the children is at the core of this services' values which has enabled them to have very low staff turnover. This in turn has enabled them to provide a supportive environment to their educators as well as offering a stable learning environment for the children in their care. 

      The opportunity:

      The Senior Manager will provide strong, committed leadership, lead strategy and innovation as well as ensuring regulatory compliance and good practice in finance and risk functions.


      The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing early childhood education services, leading change and renewal as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing 2+ million budgets. 


      As the Senior Manager you will inspire excellence, manage performance, lead by example and build a supportive culture where each and every team member will be focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

      The Candidate

      You will be Diploma or Bachelor qualified Early Years professional with 3+ years’ experience in multi-site management or a centre director with a minimum of five years’ experience who possesses strong business acumen and experience managing large services.

      You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.  In addition, you will have a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters and policies.
