Anzuk work with schools across Portsmouth and its neighbouring areas and are looking for enthusiastic Primary school teachers who would bring great skills and knowledge to a number of our schools in the Portsmouth area, we offer a variety of short-term, long-term and permanent positions.

  • Competitive rates of pay starting at £140 per day.

Overview of the Primary Teacher role:

  • Foster a secure and inviting classroom environment for all learners.
  • Deliver personalised lesson plans to accommodate the distinct learning styles and behavioural needs of Key Stage 1 and 2 students.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies specifically tailored to children in KS1 and KS2
  • Maintain open communication by consistently providing feedback to KS1 and KS2 students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education

The ideal Primary Teacher will:

  • Hold a recognized teaching credential, such as QTS
  • Be punctual and organised
  • Exhibit a proven history of effective engagement with primary-aged students
  • Maintain an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Maintain professional standards at all times
  • Hold valid UK right to work
  • Have Classroom experience
  • Be able to embrace a wide range of learning tools to further students’ work
