anzuk have just opened their doors in Wales for the first time after working with schools across the UK, US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand for the past 14 years. Get on board with an established worldwide agency to become an ambassador in schools across the South West of Wales.
We are currently working with Primary and Secondary schools across South Wales (Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport, Monmouthshire, Blaenau Gwent and surrounding areas) looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream classes, and within their Additional Needs Resource bases.
There are various posts to fill, 1:1 support, classroom support, full time, part time and daily adhoc cover. Due to the varying nature and sizes of these schools, there is an ever-changing recruitment need, there will be opportunities for contracts direct with the school after a qualifying/trial period. We are currently placing candidates for immediate starts, as well as sourcing excellent support staff to start in September.
The ideal Candidates will have previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults with Additional Learning Needs. The schools require support for children of various needs and abilities, including: ASD, BESD, EAL and VI. Whether you are interested in securing regular supply teaching work, full or part-time teaching positions, a long-term teaching role, or a permanent teaching position, we’d love to hear from you asap.
To apply and commence working with us you will :
- Possess relevant experience.
- Possess an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or
be willing to apply for one through anzuk.
- Possess an up to date CV, with relevant teaching referees.
- Be based in South Wales, surrounding areas, or planning to relocate and able
to provide a valid police check from any countries you have lived in (outside of
the UK) within the last 5 years.
- Be registered with the EWC.
- Have a willingness to learn and undertake new challenges!
A minimum daily pay-rate £65 per day, dependent upon previous experience. Higher rates of pay can be considered for high-performing candidates with excellent references.
Permanent positions are paid in line with the school salary levels.
