Business Teacher

Business teacher required for Summer term- Non teachers can apply as training can be provided.


ANZUK is priveleged to aid the recruitment of teachers at an oversubscribed school that, as they expand, is entering the next phase of its development.
 
Due to their popularity, and as part of our £4.5 million building programme, they are growing and strengthening their already high performing staff team who, by 2025, will be working with 1600 students.
 
Initially to cover maternity leave the school seek to appoint a well-qualified, creative and inspirational Teacher of Business Studies – who can also offer ICT – to start summer 2023 or earlier, with a view to becoming a permanent member of our outstanding team. The school would consider someone with a Business/ICT related degree and/or solid industry relevant experience wishing to train.
 
The post holder should have a strong knowledge of Business Studies covering topics such as Marketing, Human Resources, Business Ownership and Finance. Experience of teaching KS4 and KS5 BTEC Business/Enterprise is preferable. At present the school offer the BTEC Technical award in Enterprise Level 1/2 from Year 9 and the BTEC National Extended Certificate in Business at sixth form.
 
There are many opportunities to teach a wide range of age groups. The Business Department is well resourced and is committed to extending and improving its range of opportunities for students.
 
The successful candidate will be an excellent and approachable classroom practitioner, able to adapt learning in order to secure the best outcomes for all learners. Above all else, the successful candidate should be enthusiastic about their work with young people and have a genuine concern for their development as individuals.
 
The school sees the Form Tutor as a key role in the support, development and welfare of the students and teachers are expected to undertake this role with the same standards and commitment as their subject role.
 
The school has established mentoring programmes for new and recently qualified teachers and will consider applications from those with a related degree wishing to train, as well as NQTs/ECTs. All teachers benefit from being part of a whole school collaborative teaching and learning approach and excellent opportunities for ongoing professional development.
