Drama Teacher
An Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school in Staines, Surrey is looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their high achieving comprehensive school.

The Role:
The school is looking for a qualified, dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join its well-resourced, friendly and supportive department. This role is starting immediately with the potential to go permanent in September.

The school has excellent facilities including a gym that staff have access to during the day and in the evenings plus an impressive theatre and performing arts studio. Are you the right person for the role:
- Full time availability (although part time would be considered) fixed until the end of the academic year, with potential to extend in to a permanent contract.
- Be a qualified Drama Teacher or a Cover Supervisor with the ability to deliver Drama to KS3 & KS4 (age 11 - 16)
- Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
- High expectations for yourself and the students to ensure that all achieve their very best
- An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
- Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our school
Application requirements:
To teach, you will ideally have a relevant qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS. You will also need references to cover the last 2 years, A valid DBS on the update service (we can also process one for you) as well as a CV outlining recent teaching experience and work history to cover the last 10 years.
