Responsibilities:

Design and facilitate nature-based learning experiences for children, integrating outdoor exploration, gardening, and environmental awareness.
Nurture children's curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on nature-based activities and projects.
Foster a deep connection to the natural world, promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Collaborate with a team of educators to create a nature-rich environment that supports children's holistic development.
Document and share children's experiences, growth, and milestones through observations and portfolios.
Develop positive relationships with parents, engaging them in the nature-based learning journey of their children.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards in outdoor learning environments.

Requirements:

Passion for nature-based education and a strong belief in the benefits of outdoor learning for children.
Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
Knowledge of nature-based learning principles, outdoor risk management, and child development.
Qualifications in Early Childhood Education (Level 2 or above preferred) or relevant field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities to design and implement nature-based activities.
Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating and sharing ideas and resources.
Enthusiasm, patience, and a nurturing approach towards children's well-being and learning.
