Maths Teacher

An OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is seeking a Maths Teacher to start in September 2023 on a full-time basis. You'll be joining a team dedicated to enabling every member of the community to reach their full potential. Regular CPD, collaboration and school events will support you in your development as an Outstanding educator here!

The Role of a Maths Teacher:
  • Teach Maths to KS3-KS5 aligned to the Edexcel framework
  • Full-time role
  • Develop students' skills in reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Deliver homework using resources such as Corbett Maths and Hegarty Maths
  • Report on student outcomes using analytics tools, including during parent meetings and reporting points during the academic year
  • Set up the best environments that put education at the heart of all interactions, both in the classroom and out
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be confident teaching Maths to KS3 & KS4 Levels. Opportunities available to teach KS5
  • Have experience managing classrooms, with novel ideas in differentiating lesson content
  • Use resources to check for understanding regularly such as exit tickets, mini-quizzes, projects and home-learning
  • Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
  • NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply
