anzuk is working with an 'OUTSTANDING' partner school in Southwark to secure a Maths teacher to start on a long term basis from after the Easter Holidays.

THE SCHOOL:
The school is easily accessible via public transport and car. It was graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. The highlighted the quality of the behaviour management policy and its' consistently high performance.

The inspectors commented: "Outstanding leadership has produced a highly effective school within a short time.""Pupils across the school make exceptional progress."

Access to large playing fields and good links with local sports and drama clubs help keep the student body engaged. There are high expectations of student attainment and booster & tuition sessions regularly take place with the aid of external support.

THE DEPARTMENT:
You will be joining a large team of teachers and support staff in the maths department. The facilities are excellent as the school is large and relatively new. The head of maths is active and engaged in the professional development of the staff. The department is well balanced in terms of experience

THE ROLE & YOU:

- Full time, 5 days per week, maternity cover until the end of the school year
- Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
- Teaching maths KS3/4/5
- Contact teaching time is well balanced and PPA time well regulated
- The curriculum for the year is mostly written but the school would like a staff member with experience of doing this
