Maths Teacher
A high-performing school in Bristol is seeking a Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2023. You'll be a part of a diverse and vibrant community, keen to uphold high standards and encourage the next generation of mathematicians to excel!
The Role of a Maths Teacher: - Plan, deliver, and assess the efficacy of Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
- Empower students to develop skills in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving
- Take on the role of Tutor, delivering a pre-planned PSHE curriculum and discussing important events in the world
- Differentiate lessons to ensure all students of all abilities are able to access lesson content
- Deliver and mark assessments in order to identify areas of development in learning across your classes
The Ideal Maths Teacher will: - Have knowledge of the AQA Maths syllabus, among others
- Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
- Have achieved a degree in Mathematics, or completed a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course
- Possess an array of methods to help ease maths anxiety and make the lesson content accessible to all
- Have strong behaviour management skills, ensuring positivity and growth are at the heart of all interactions
