Role of a Maths Teacher:

Deliver the established Maths curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4, tailoring your teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of your students
Continuously assess pupil progress and provide regular updates during meetings with colleagues and parents
Empower students to excel in problem-solving and enhance their mathematical reasoning skills.
Collaborate with other departments to explore the practical and interdisciplinary applications of mathematics
Implement effective behavior management systems, creating an environment that prioritises education and positive interactions, both inside and outside the classroom

The Ideal Maths Teacher Will:

Exude a genuine passion for learning. Your enthusiasm for mathematics will serve as an inspiration for students to excel
Possess a repertoire of methods to explain complex mathematical concepts to students of all abilities
Be a proficient and effective communicator, fostering positive learning environments and enabling students to make informed choices
Be dedicated to upholding values that promote equal opportunities and embrace diversity
Nurture curiosity and inquiry in young minds, cultivating the next generation of problem solvers
