Please note: This role is part time (0.2) with working days being Tuesdays and Fridays until the end of the academic year.

Maths Teacher Job Role:

  • Utilise innovative materials and assessments that align with national curriculum standards
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, enhancing their understanding of strengths and areas for improvement
  • Advocate for the welfare of children and young people, promoting a supportive environment within the subject and the entire school
  • Create, deliver and mark captivating Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students who are studying for their exams
  • Foster positive connections with parents, caregivers, and the broader community to create a collaborative educational atmosphere
  • Help children to develop a love for mathematics
The Ideal Maths Teacher:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Education, Maths or a closely related field
  • Hold a pertinent Postgraduate qualification (PGCE/QTS)
  • Sustain an updated and applicable DBS or be open to the application process
  • Demonstrate a fervent dedication to teaching and inspiring students in English language and literature
  • Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
