anzuk is recruiting for a Music Specialist to start ASAP for a secondary school in outer Bristol


A school in outer Bristol is seeking a Music Teacher to join their team. This school is part of a supportive multi-academy trust, keen to further develop aspiring and established teachers by offering high-quality CPD. The role:

  • Starting ASAP and Part Time (0.8)
  • Teaching Music at all key stages
  • Deliver practical lessons to engage students in developing a love for music
  • Co-ordinate extracurricular activities, including concerts with the performing arts department
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to colleagues and parents
The ideal educator will:
  • Demonstrate a love for learning and enthusiasm for music
  • Be strong in behaviour management, facilitating the best interactions between all members of the community
  • Address the varying needs of students, to maximise learning and create positive learning environments
  • Be a reflective practitioner, actively adapting lesson content, approaches and projects during the academic year
Application requirements:

To teach, you will need a relevant qualification such as a PGCE or QTS. You will also need references to cover the last 2 years, A valid DBS on the update service (we can also process one for you) as well as a CV outlining recent teaching experience and work history to cover the last 10 years.
