The Role of a Science Teacher:

Teach Science up to at least KS4/GCSE, with the opportunity to also teach KS5
Plan and deliver outstanding lessons, utilising IT
Deliver practical lessons focused on all specialisms, ensuring the safe use of lab equipment and reagents
Regularly deliver assessments and provide feedback to colleagues, students and parents
Adopt a variety of teaching styles and methods to ensure learning is optimised and all students are achieving their potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Confidently teach Science up to KS5
Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
Have excellent teaching skills, ensuring students develop a passion for learning about the world around them
Be reflective and inquisitive
Be organised and methodical
