Role of a Science Teacher:

  • Full-time position starting ASAP to cover sickness
  • Engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3 & 4 with well-structured, innovative lessons
  • Assume tutor group responsibilities, nurturing a supportive learning environment
  • Embrace a blend of practical and investigative teaching methods while ensuring the safe use of chemicals and reagents
  • Implement effective strategies to support students with additional needs
  • Contribute to student assessment, record-keeping, and progress reporting
The Ideal Science Teacher Will:
  • Demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge and a profound understanding of the Science curriculum
  • Excel in teaching students with diverse abilities across Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with the team and the broader school community
  • Inspire, motivate, and challenge students to reach their full potential
  • Promote positive behavior management strategies that enhance student learning
  • Hold the appropriate degree, UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a valid right to work in the UK
