The School  
anzuk Surrey is seeking a fantastic science teacher to join a friendly and thriving school near Staines Upon Thames in October 2023. The school is part of a supportive multi-academy trust, who is keen to welcome you into a creative and community-based school which is value driven. The school has a real focus on collegiality and staff wellbeing.
  
The role:

  • Teach KS3 and KS4 science
  • Ensure students make progress in science, supporting all learning types and needs
  • Engage in all key aspects of the teaching role including planning, delivery, assessment and feedback to students and parents
  • Excellent classroom practitioner who communicates clearly and effectively with parents, colleagues and students
Desirable qualities in educators:
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (or equivalent)
  • Have excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry, Physics and Biology
  • Approachable, personable and relatable individuals who can use these qualities to engage students in learning
  • Hard-working team-players who promote a positive and enriching community around every student
  • Strong behaviour management skills, ensuring learning is at the core of every interaction
  • Good time-management skills, with keen attention to detail to long-term plans/schemes of work
Pay scale: Fringe MPS/UPS
