anzuk is partnering with a secondary school situated in central Bristol, serving a diverse student population surpassing 1000 individuals aged 11-18. Please note: This role is a full time role from January 2024 until the end of the school year. 
 
Science Teacher Job Role:

  • Deliver captivating pre planned science lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) 
  • Supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring a secure environment with strict adherence to safety protocols
  • Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students, facilitating their understanding of both strengths and areas for improvement in their academic pursuits
  • Advocate for the well-being of children and young people, extending this commitment not only to the subject matter but throughout the entire school community
  • Foster positive connections with parents, caregivers, and the broader community, cultivating a collaborative educational atmosphere that emphasizes shared goals and mutual support
The Ideal Science Teacher:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science, or a related field
  • Relevant Postgraduate qualification (PGCE/QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the Science National Curriculum
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students in the world of Science
