A great school in South Bristol, part of a large and supportive MAT is seeking a Teacher of Food Technology to join their team for the new academic year. The Role of a Teacher of Food Technology: - Teach Food Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4 within the DT department
- TLR is available for the right Food Technology Teacher looking to lead the subject
- Ample time is given during the week for PPA
- Conduct practical lessons, ensuring cookware and apparatus are used correctly and safely
- Undertake planning, marking and assessment of student work, reporting back to colleagues and parents
The Ideal Educator Will: - Be confident in teaching Food Tech and Nutrition to KS3 and KS4 levels
- Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/ QTS)
- Have knowledge of the AQA syllabus
- Have strong communication and coaching skills, increasing student confidence in this option subject
- Adapt teaching to suit the learning needs of their students
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply
