Teacher of MFL

A large and inclusive multi-academy trust is seeking a passionate and engaging Teacher of MFL to join a successful school in Bristol. You will have an active role in promoting an environment that broadens children's understanding of the world around them, celebrating language and culture all year round!

The Role of a Teacher of MFL
  • Teach the MFL curriculum across KS3 and KS4, engaging students in reading, comprehension and conversation-based tasks
  • Deliver assessments and regularly check for understanding, feeding back to colleagues and parents
  • Differentiate lesson content to suit the learning needs of key identified groups, including pupil premium and SEND
  • Take on the role of Tutor, checking in with your own group of students every day and delivering the school's PSHE curriculum
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Be confident teaching MFL to KS3 & KS4 Level, showcasing proficiency and passion for languages
  • Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
  • Have strong communication and listening skills
  • Be a reflective practitioner, ensuring lesson content is reviewed and adapted to suit your students' learning needs
  • Have strong behaviour management skills 
  • NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply
