The Schools

An array of primary and secondary settings, based in Camden. Students at these schools display varying emotional behavioural difficulties and very little English. The focus is on working closely with students and supporting their integration to the UK. All schools can all be accessed via London underground. 

The Role

Teaching Assistants required on a full-time basis or casual basis. The right candidates for these positions will have an ability to build relationships with children from varying backgrounds, whilst focusing support on literacy and numeracy needs. You will be required 1:1 or in small classroom environment, where there is generally 3-7 students. Full training and support will be provided by experienced SEN teachers and support staff who have key knowledge of the student base. 

Key Skills

No experience is necessary, but any suitable background in working with children, particularly those with special educational needs is advantageous. Key skills include a bubbly and positive attitude, resilience and the ability to build rapport with students. Teaching assistants should be fluent in Pashto or Dari.
