anzuk are looking for engaging Teaching Assistants to join our team of educators for full time and long term roles within our partner schools in Bristol. We are looking for educators who are wanting a challenge and to make a positive impact on students either in mainstream or specialist environments.

The role:

Supporting students both academically and socially
Motivating, clarifying instructions and encouraging independent learning
May include general schools duties: preparing resource, setting up learning spaces and break and lunchtime supervision
Some SEND support might be need for children with additional needs such as, Social, Emotional & Mental Health, Autism & Speech and Language Communication Needs
Aiding the SENCO and/or Class teacher with monitoring and reporting children's progress

Schools are looking for:

Creative and energetic individuals who show real passion for making a difference in a child's life
TAs who have experience working with Special Educational Needs within a classroom environment
TAs who are able to use a variety of different methods to engage students with a variety of needs and abilities

Desirable qualities in educators:

Approachable, personable and relatable individuals who can use these qualities to engage students in learning
Hard-working team-players who promote a positive and enriching community around every child
Strong behaviour management skills, ensuring learning is at the core of every interaction
Good time-management skills, with keen attention to detail
Reliability is key, the students will need someone who is consistent
