ICT Teacher

Role
The ICT Teacher reports to the Head of Secondary (with cross-school collaboration with Head of Primary where applicable) and is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment within the ICT curriculum, in alignment with the School’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic priorities. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that develop students’ confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills and digital literacy. Working closely with the Head of Secondary and Director of Teaching and Learning, the ICT Teacher ensures that teaching practices, curriculum delivery and assessment approaches are inclusive, coherent, evidence-informed and responsive to the diverse needs of students. The role contributes to a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment, while supporting the holistic development of all learners. The ICT curriculum includes digital literacy, coding, computational thinking, data handling, online safety, digital communication, multimedia creation and the responsible use of technology. Where ICT is delivered across Primary and Secondary, the ICT Teacher works in collaboration with both Heads of School to ensure age-appropriate curriculum delivery, consistent expectations and continuity of student experience.
