The School is located in Manama, Bahrain, serving families from across the capital and surrounding areas through its accessible campus and school transportation network. The school promotes a welcoming, international learning environment while delivering the English National Curriculum from Early Years through Secondary and Sixth Form. The campus offers modern facilities including specialist spaces for physical education, music, art, languages, and enrichment activities, supporting both academic achievement and personal development. The Role
  
You will be teaching KS1 cohorts within the British curriculum. 
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well-being
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities 
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback 
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success 
  • Participate in professional development opportunities 
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity

Requirements

  • Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject
  • Valid teaching licence / current teaching registration preferably from the UK or Canada (e.g. QTS) 
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range
  • Experience with the British Curriculum is essential 
  • Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage
  • Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students
  • Flexibility and resilience required to work in a team at fast growing schools
