The school comprises of a Pre-Prep (located in a purpose-built ‘Early Learning Village’) for children aged 18 months to 6 years a Prep School for children aged 6 to 11 years and Senior School. Senior pupils pursue IGCSEs and A-levels.

The Role The school is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Physics to play a leading role in delivering a world‑class Physics curriculum across the Senior School from August 2026. This appointment provides a pivotal opportunity to shape, elevate and champion the College’s Science provision as the school continues its evolution from a first‑class Prep School into one of the region’s leading all‑through schools, offering education from Pre‑Nursery to Year 13.
What you will be doing:
- Demonstrate the experience and ability to teach Physics across all relevant Key Stages (including IGCSE/GCSE and A-level).
- Take responsibility for the teaching, progress and attainment of timetabled pupils in Physics in Years 7 to 12 from August 2026, and for other senior year groups in the following years.
- Work collaboratively on aspects of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 curriculum planning and delivery.
- Work collaboratively on aspects of assessment, tracking and reporting for Physics .
- Promote excellence, creativity and innovation in all areas of the Physics curriculum.
- Act as an outstanding classroom practitioner, with the ability to lead by example.
- Devise and implement rigorous self-evaluation processes.
- Support pupils during key transition points, particularly Year 6-7 and Year 11-12, ensuring continuity in literacy and analytical skills.
- Work closely with the Heads of EAL and AEN to develop pathways for pupils requiring additional support.
- Contribute to the highest standards of safeguarding and to the school’s pastoral system, acting as a tutor for a Senior School year group.
- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
- Undertake any other reasonable management requests in support of the school’s mission, vision, and values.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, with PGCE or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge or experience of successfully delivering Physics GCSEs/IGCSEs and A-levels (essential).
- Proven track record of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Physics teaching.
- International school experience (preferred).
