Role and Requirements

• Applicants must be fully qualified, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Able to lead and coordinate safeguarding and child protection practice across the whole school, acting as the lead professional in this area.
• Shape a proactive safeguarding culture, ensuring early identification of risks and strong, consistent practice among staff.
• Provide guidance, oversight and training for the safeguarding team and wider staff body, supporting colleagues with confidence and clarity.
• Maintain and develop safeguarding policies and procedures in line with international standards, and oversee their effective implementation.
• Work closely with students, families, external agencies and internal teams to promote the welfare, wellbeing and safety of every child.
