The School:
anzuk Education is working exclusively with a highly performing comprehensive school based in Weybridge, Surrey. The school is part of a large successful multi-academy trust. The school was last rated by Ofsted as a ‘GOOD’ school, working towards ‘OUTSTANDING’.  The school has recently undergone an extensive renovation and boosts fantastic, new, modern facilities.  The school leadership team is passionate about the success of the school and invested in the people who work there. There is a friendly, happy atmosphere where everyone feels supported and valued.  

The Role:
The school is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Teacher of Humanities to join its well-resourced and established department. This role is a permanent or fixed term contract starting in September 2024.
The school is flexible with the humanities specialism; whether your experience lies most with History or Geography, the HOD will work the timetable around the skills and expertise of the successful applicant.

  • A passionate humanities teacher who inspires and motivates 
  • A driven teacher who has the ability to secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children no matter what their starting point
  • A committed teacher who is invested in their own professional development
  • A teacher with strong interpersonal and organisational skills who can develop a strong partnership with the children, parents and the school community
  • An invested teacher who can contribute to the wider life of the school
  • A nurturing teacher who is able to create a safe, happy, challenging, stimulating and effective learning environment.

Role requirements:

  • Hold a QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Be willing to complete relevant compliance procedures and provide documents necessary
  • Be able to commute to the school or relocate 

Pay negotiable in line with fringe main pay scale for teachers ranging between £170 – £230 per day (ECT / M1 – UPS).
