In 2015 I returned to Melbourne after the best 2 years of my life… Living in London. Today I am listening to the above mentioned song by The Waifs, nostalgic about my time in the great city…
I made the move to London in 2013, ready for a new adventure. To meet new people, see the world and make some amazing memories… I believe that life is all about the story that you can tell at the end of it and my time in London and travelling around Europe has made a pretty great chapter!

I met a lot of teachers in my first few weeks who recommended I get in touch with anzuk, to register to work as a teaching assistant… My first impression when I walked into the London anzuk office for my registration appointment was “this is a place that I would like to work!”… The enthusiasm and buzz was infectious. I went on to work in a fantastic Secondary School in West London for a few months but it wasn’t too long before I was in that buzzing office and part of the anzuk team myself.

2 years later, my visa came to an end… and let me tell you that time flies! Luckily for me, the stars aligned and with anzuk being based in my home city of Melbourne as well, I was able to remain with the company and draw on my experiences and knowledge of Education Recruitment in the UK in a new role. Now I spend my days inspiring others to jet off on adventure of their own and have a similar, amazing experience to what I had.
My aim is to gear everyone up with everything that I know now and provide all the advice and support to make the move as smooth as possible.

I love having a chat and getting to know everyone and hearing about all their plans. Every day I am reliving my own time in London vicariously through others and I’ve just realised that I really am in London still.
