Energetic Teaching Assistants required for immediate start

Location: Haywards Heath 

Start date: 15th April 2024 (or later for the right person)

Contract Type: The school are flexible for the right candidate. The school are offering a full time position through anzuk Education but are happy to consider part-time or permanent contracts for the right person. 

Pay: Daily rate starting at £85 per day (PAYE)

The School
We are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support the learning of Students at a Boys Primary Pupil Referral units based in Haywards Heath.

Students at this schools display varying emotional behavioural difficulties and Special Education needs including, but not limited to ADHD, ASD and dyslexia. The focus is on working closely with students and supporting their engagement with their education, and working towards re-integration into Mainstream Schools. The schools best access via public transport is predominantly the Metrobus 271 route, or by car. 

The Role
The right educators for this position, will have an ability to build relationships with children from varying backgrounds, whilst focusing support on literacy and numeracy needs. You will be required 1:1 or in a small classroom environment, where there is generally no more than 8 students. Full training and support will be provided by experienced SEN teachers and support staff who have key knowledge of the student base.

Key Skills
No experience is necessary, but any suitable background in working with children or adults, particularly those with special educational needs or social, emotional and mental health needs is advantageous. Key skills include a positive attitude, resilience and the ability to build rapport with students.
