Job Role: Teaching Assistant Year 3 & 4
Pay Rate: £25,000 per annum
Location: Kensington
The School:
Is a beautiful well-known School in Kensington. The current class size is 12 students and will stay around this number. The current headteacher has a passion for education and believes that the smaller class size, allows for greater learning. She also finds importance in providing activities that are designed to allow the pupils to try new things and learn new skills both inside and outside the classroom. She is hoping to find a passionate, Teaching Assistant to join the class from September.
What Would The Right Teaching Assistant Look Like?
- Punctual & reliable.
- Able to present content provided by class teacher.
- Friendly but business-like in their approach in being inspirational and supportive, aspiring students to find a love for learning.
- Relationship focused, and the ability to encourage individuality.
- Willing to supervisor break times.
- Ability to lead and support small groups during activities, school events and educational visits.
- Plan, prepare and hold an after-school club for at least two of the three terms within the school year.
- Able to Read a story or playing a game with the whole class or supervising them for short periods, including rehearsing for assemblies and school performances.
- Supporting and, where appropriate, guiding teachers covering due to the class teacher’s absence.
Must Have:
- Teaching Assistant experience in Key Stage 2 classrooms.
- Working with children’s check.
- Speak Italian (preferable)
