What are we looking for?

Anzuk is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join North West London schools as cover supervisors or unqualified teachers. If you possess any experience working with children, whether it be through tutoring or as a teaching assistant, we would love to have you on board! 

What are the schools like?
We are working with outstanding schools in Ealing, Acton and Harrow. Many of our schools have long standing head teachers who are passionate about education and love using anzuk Education as their support staff! We work with a variety of schools which include; Mainstream, Private of Catholic school all of which have different values and opportunities for our educators. 

The Role as Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher: 

• In the absence of the regular teacher, adeptly oversee and manage students within the classroom setting
• Adhere to pre-prepared lesson plans provided by teachers, facilitating an environment where students can efficiently accomplish assigned tasks
• Offering support and guidance to students as necessary, implementing the school’s behaviour management policies and procedures
• Swiftly and effectively addressing any disruptions or behavioural issues that may arise
• Uphold and advocate for the school’s values and ethos, ensuring a positive and cohesive learning environment
• Foster open communication with teaching staff and school leadership Demonstrate adaptability by seamlessly transitioning between different subjects and year groups as required
• Stay flexible in responding to the evolving needs of the school, embodying a proactive and collaborative approach

Requirements as a Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher  

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people is desirable. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• A degree in any discipline is preferred. 
• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is an advantage. 
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education. 
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
