Location: Barnet 
Contract Type: Full Time (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £145 – £278.66 per day, or paid to scale
Start date: ASAP

anzuk is collaborating with a North London based Primary school to find a KS2 Primary Teacher. The school values community, and all staff are committed to supporting and guiding each child’s individual development. The school believes that the child’s wellbeing is of utmost importance, and they believe in a holistic and well-rounded approach to learning. The successful applicant will be joining a stable teaching team in a two form entry school.

KS2 Primary Teacher Job Description:

  • Produce and implement customised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and behavioural needs of each student in the KS2 class.
  • Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of value, respect, and motivation for all students.
  • Maintain transparent communication by regularly providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education.

The Ideal KS2 Primary Teacher:

  • Possess a valid teaching certification, such as QTS, to ensure the highest standards of teaching practice
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students with behavioural needs, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group.
  • Hold a recent and clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs.
