French / Spanish Teacher

Job Role – French & Spanish Teacher 
Location – Catford, South East London  
Salary –  A daily rate of £165.30 – £188.10/ Pay to scale

This school is a coeducational school based in Catford, South East London. It is an ambitious school with a forward-thinking community. It was named Co-educational School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards in 2020. This school has excellent facilities and grounds which accommodates students from the early years/foundation stage up to the sixth form. About the French/Spanish Teacher Role: 
 
The school are looking for a French specialist teacher who can: 
  

• Facilitate and design captivating and immersive French/Spanish Language lessons  
• Ignite curiosity and foster appreciation for diverse cultures among students  
• Established a positive and inclusive environment  

  
Responsibilities of a French/Spanish Teacher: 

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that accommodate the individual learning styles and behavioural requirements of students. 
• Employ a variety of effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere 
• Collaborate with special education professionals, and support staff to create comprehensive behaviour intervention plans 
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn 

  
Requirements of a French/Spanish Teacher:  
  

• Maintain an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or demonstrate the willingness to apply for one through anzuk  
• Obtain a QTS or PGCE 
• Ability to teach KS1/KS2  
• Must have the Valid Right to Work in the UK  
• Excellent communication and engagement skills, able to manage a classroom well  
• Strong proficiency in French
