Job Title: Humanities Teacher
Location: Southeast London, United Kingdom
Pay: 171-250 pound per day

Overview: We are seeking excited Humanities Teachers to join our team at ANZUK, located in Southeast London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies, we have a variety of supply teaching roles and ongoing roles.

Key Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards.
  2. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and encourages participation.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall educational experience.
  5. Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.

Qualifications of a Humanities Teacher:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Humanities Teacher performing at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Additional Information:

  • ANZUK provide all forms of working types ranging from supply to permanent roles. 
  • Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
