Job Title: Year 1 teacher – Teddington
Salary: £160 – £260 (paid to scale)

anzuk is collaborating with a South West-based Primary school to find a Year 1 Teacher. Year 1 Teacher Job Description:
- Produce and implement customised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and behavioural needs of each student in the Year 1 class
- Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of value, respect, and motivation for all students
- Maintain transparent communication by regularly providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to education
The Ideal Year 1 Teacher:
- Possess a valid teaching certification, such as QTS, to ensure the highest standards of teaching practice
- Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students with behavioural needs, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group
- Hold a recent and clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
