How do I earn an extra £250 or £500 in relocation bonuses, when partnering with anzuk for my journey to the UK?

Whether you are a graduate Educator looking to start your teaching career whilst experiencing all the thrills of living in a new country, or an experienced Educator looking for a new challenge in a different environment on the other side of the world, we’ve got you covered!

Partnering with anzuk for a Guaranteed Work Scheme (Ambassador Contract) as a Supply Teacher or within a long-term contract organised via a virtual interview with a school before you arrive in the UK, is an excellent way to start your overseas adventure.

Below we’ll answer a few FAQs from educators who have previously signed on to either contract. We hope this gives you some further insights into which may be the best option for you to consider!

What different relocation bonuses are available with anzuk, when moving to the UK?

Ambassador Contract

International Educators working with anzuk on an Ambassador contract are eligible to receive up to £250 following 60 days of shifts.

  • The Ambassador contract needs to be signed prior to departure from your home country
  • 60 days can run across 2 terms
  • A flight receipt is required
  • Bonus will equal flight receipt if under £250
  • Bonus will not exceed £250 if flight receipt is more than £250

Long-term Contract

International Educators working with us on a contract agreement are eligible to receive up to £500 following 60 shifts at one setting.

  • The contract needs to be signed prior to departure from your home country
  • 60 days can run across 2 terms
  • A flight receipt is required
  • Bonus will equal flight receipt if under £500
  • Bonus will not exceed £500 if flight receipt is more than £500

How & when do I receive the bonus?

We’ll pay the bonus directly into your nominated UK bank account.

The bonus is paid out after 60 days of working within either the Ambassador, or Long-term contract. The 60 days can be spread across 2 terms in some cases.

Do I get taxed on the bonus?

Luckily the answer to this question is, no. As it’s a relocation bonus & agreed before you leave for the UK, it’s not taxed by the UK government.

Are Teachers & Support Staff eligible to receive either bonus?

Yes. Both Teachers & Support Staff are eligible to receive either relocation bonus.

Are there any conditions I should be aware of?

The contract needs to be signed prior to your departure for the UK.

You’ll need to complete the 60 days of agreed work within the contract to be eligible to receive the bonus.

Bonuses are available for Teachers & Educational Support Staff
