We’re thrilled to have Andrew Wood as our in conversation guest this week on exceptional.education. Andrew is currently the AP at Auburn Primary School and shares his incredible journey with us today. From starting a teaching apprenticeship at the age of 18 in his home country of New Zealand, to working as a casual relief teacher in Melbourne, to now working as the AP at Auburn Primary, Andrew has some really fascinating insights into what makes a good teacher and leader.

He is also passionate about Indigenous education, having utilised his upbringing in Maori culture to bring a Maori perspective to the classes he taught while in NZ.

We love this chat with Andrew and hope that you do too!

We cherish your feedback on the show and would love to hear from you. If you would like to weigh in on an episode; whether it being a guest yourself or what you would like to hear about, please send an email through to: au@anzuk.education
