Job Title: Nursery Teacher

Salary: £214.82 to £278.66 p/day, depending on experience

About the school:
anzuk is collaborating with a two-form entry primary school in Hammersmith to recruit an experienced Nursery Teacher. This would be for an immediate start until July 2024, with the potential to extend in the new academic year.
The school is rated outstanding by Ofsted, with excellent leadership and support. Staff and students feel welcome, respected and valued in this school. They are part of a federation of three schools allowing staff to work collaboratively and share expertise across the schools. They boast excellent facilities including a dedicated performance space and art room.
Nursery Teacher Job Description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the individual needs of students, in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, that encourages active participation and creativity
- Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
- Safeguard the well-being of children, adults, and staff consistently
- Actively engage in children’s play and conversations to prompt and expand language skills, encourage inquiries, foster the development of ideas, and optimise the learning opportunities within the nursery routine
- Establishing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
The Ideal Nursery Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
- Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with Nursery-aged students
- Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
