Salary: £214.82 to £278.66 p/day, depending on experience

About the school:
anzuk is collaborating with a two-form entry primary school in Fulham to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher. This is a maternity cover position and would start in June 2024 for approx. 1 year.
The school is rated outstanding by Ofsted, with excellent leadership and support. Staff and students feel welcome, respected and valued in this school. They are part of a federation of three schools allowing staff to work collaboratively and share expertise across the schools. They boast excellent facilities including a dedicated performance space and art room.
Year 6 Teacher Job Description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
- Responsible for two classes of children as they rotate on a weekly basis.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity
- Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Establishing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
- Safeguard the well-being of children, adults, and staff consistently
The Ideal Year 6 Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students
- Have the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group
- Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs
