Science and Maths Teacher – Years 7-10

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science and Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students in Years 7-10, fostering their academic growth and development. The position is commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Science and Maths to students in Years 7-10.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
• Contribute to the Co-Curricular program and ethos of the College.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Maths, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
• Relevant teaching experience, particularly in secondary education.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum, particularly in Science and Maths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic potential.
• Willingness to contribute to the Religious Education program (ability to teach Religious Education is an advantage).
