Position: Math/Science Teacher
Location: Ipswich 

About the Role: As a Math/Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics and science to students in Years 7 to 12. You will inspire a passion for these subjects, develop students’ critical thinking skills, and cultivate their scientific inquiry abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated mathematics and science lessons that accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters active student participation and collaboration in math and science activities.
• Assess student progress in mathematics and science and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum initiatives in mathematics and science.
• Participate in school-wide activities and events that contribute to the holistic development of students, particularly in mathematics and science education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
• Queensland College of Teachers registration.
• Specialisation or experience in teaching Math/Science at the secondary level preferred.
• Advantageous to have knowledge of the QCAA curriculum and its implementation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
